Reservations:
All reservations are made according to the vehicle category and not for a specific model. In case of non-availability of a vehicle in the default category, with regard to a confirmed reservation, VSTAR reserves the right to provide the customer with a larger category car, without charge of the customer.
Guide:
Minimum age 21 for all categories of vehicles
Driving licence:
A valid driving licence is required for the Greek territory and the EU, issued at least 1 year before the date of commencement of the lease. Citizens of countries outside the EU are required to have an international driving licence in force, together with the presentation of the national driving licence.
Calls – Fines:
Calls and fines as a result of infringements of the Road Traffic Code charge the Employee. The Salary shall also undertake, where appropriate, the payment of the management costs.
Payment method:
The tenant is required to provide a credit card as a guarantee for rent, even if the payment is made with cash money. Rent is prepaid.
Guarantee:
For rentals in Greece, upon receipt of the vehicle, a guarantee amount will be committed to the driver's credit card, for each vehicle, which will be returned in full at the end of the rental, provided no other charges arise. The release of the amount can last up to 20 days depending on the issuing bank of the card. The amount of the guarantee differs by category of vehicle.
Deliveries – Off-hour pick-ups at stations:
Client Charge 20€+VAT.
Deliveries – Off-station pickups:
Off-station deliveries and deliveries shall be made at the customer's request. The charge for deliveries of deliveries within cities is 30€+VAT/street, while for deliveries pickups outside cities the cost is 30€+VAT plus 1,79€+VAT per km/h.
Additional Guide:
The charge for each additional driver is 5€+VAT/day up to 5 days and 3,5€+phpa/day from 6 and above days. The maximum number of drivers shall be set at 2 persons free of charge upon request.
Child seat:
The child seat charge is set at 5€+phpa/day at customer's request and company availability.
Snow Chains:
The snow chains charge is 10€+phpa/day at customer's request and company availability.
Fuel:
The tenant must return the car with the same amount of fuel he received. In the event of the return of the car with less fuel than the original (i.e. the amount of fuel the customer received the vehicle) the customer shall bear the fuel difference and the service charge 10€+b. No compensation is provided for the customer if the car is returned with a greater amount of fuel than received. The vehicles shall be delivered with a minimum amount of fuel corresponding to 1⁄4 of the tank.
Millimeters:
For rentals longer than 3 days a daily limit of 100 km/day up to 3000 km for up to 30 days rent is provided. For rentals less than 3 days, prices include a 150 km/day limit. In the latter case, if the lessee wishes free kilometres he can choose the free km package at a charge according to the price list. If any additional kilometre over 150 km/day (within 2 days) and over 100 km/day (more than 3 days) will charge the customer upon return of the vehicle at a charge according to the price list per category.
Accident:
In the event of an accident the customer shall bear 30€+the costs of managing the accident file.
INSURANCE:
CDW – Damage caused payment exemption:
The tenant is fully exempt from liability for any damage to the car:
over 750€ +VAT if it accepts and signs the relevant terms of the company's contract for categories VP,VD,V1,V2
over 950€ +VAT if it accepts and signs the relevant terms of the company's contract for categories V3,V4,V2F, V3F
over 1250€ +VAT if it accepts and signs the relevant terms of the company's contract for categories V5,V6, V4F,V5F
over 600€ +VAT if it accepts and signs the relevant terms of the company's contract for categories IX and subcategories IX.
A necessary condition for the discharge of responsibility, damage not to be proven to be due to a violation of the Road Traffic Code.
Insurance Limits:
Vehicles are insured against third parties (excluding drivers) for death and physical damage up to a million two hundred and twenty thousand euros (1,220,000,00)€) by accident and for third party material losses (excluding VSTAR's vehicle) up to EUR 1 million two hundred and twenty thousand (1,220,000,00 million)€). In the event of a change in the above limits, the thresholds will always apply, as determined by the Greek legislation in force. Losses exceeding the limit of insurance coverage or excluded from it will be paid entirely by the customer.
LW: Tyre cover and crystal break:
The tenant shall be fully exempt from liability for any damage to the car’s tyres or crystals only if he accepts and signs the relevant terms of the company’s contract and pays the amount of:
10€+phpa/ day rental for all categories.
Steal / Fire:
The tenant shall be fully exempt from liability for any damage to the car in the event of fire or theft if he accepts and signs the relevant terms of the company's contract and pays the amount of: 10€+phpa/ day rental for all categories.
The main condition for this is that there is no negligence, even slight, or that unlawful acts are carried out during the rental of the vehicle.
Road Help:
VSTAR cars are covered 24 hours by road assistance. The contact details of road assistance shall be indicated in the lease.
Transportation of a car outside the border:
The transport and driving of the car outside the borders of the Greek Territory is prohibited. Exceptionally only after written permission of the company and with the payment of the amount to be determined by the company it is permitted to drive the car off the border.
Transport of a car by ship:
A written approval of the company is required to carry the car by ship.
Roof rack:
Available in some types of vehicles in consultation with VSTAR and the charge is 3€+phpa/day.

Warning: Payment must be made within 3 (three) hours at the latest and sent by email in order not to cancel your reservation and to ensure the availability of the selected vehicle. If your booking is cancelled, you will receive an informative email. After cancellation you should rebook your reservation.
If the vehicle is received in less than 6 (six) hours the deposit should be made within 1 (one) hour otherwise the reservation will be cancelled. If your visit is cancelled, you will receive an informative email. After cancellation you should rebook your reservation.
For foreign transfers, please use debit/credit or PayPal.
Other: With credit/debit card charge
Your payments are supported by card holder certification services Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode of Visa and MasterCard Paying Agencies respectively. The card holder certification service is provided by the Bank in collaboration with third party providers. These services are intended to offer you additional protection when you make payments from the web with your card if they have been activated by the issuing bank of the card you are using and if you have already acquired a personal password (pin) that you will use exclusively for web payments, following the instructions of your Bank. For the implementation of the card holder certification service, a third provider may be required to transfer your card data to a partner with the Bank.
Warning: Payment must be made within 30 (thirty) minutes at the latest in order not to cancel your reservation and to ensure the availability of the selected vehicle. If your booking is cancelled, you will receive an informative email. After cancellation you should rebook your reservation.
Warning: Even if the issuing bank of your card does not yet participate in the services Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode, your transaction will be normally accepted and executed safely.
Also: Transactions with American Express cards, Diners, Discover and also using an electronic Masterpass wallet are supported.
Conditions for cancelling the rental booking
In case of cancellation of a reservation, Vstar is entitled to retain the following cancellation fees:
If cancelled 72 (seventy-two) hours prior to the date and time of receipt of the vehicle there is no cancellation cost (zero)
If cancelled less than 72 (seventy-two) hours before the date and time of receipt of the vehicle the cancellation fees are 100% of the value of the reservation. (100%)
In case the customer does not appear the total rental costs are not refunded.
Where the driver does not have the original driving licence in force (Greek/European or international)*) and the identity or passport (no photocopies) the vehicle will not be delivered and the total rental costs will not be refunded.
* (In the case of an international diploma he should also have the original of his country.)
In case of return of the vehicle earlier than the expiry date of the reservation-rentment no money shall be returned.
Free Cancellation
Free cancellation policy 72 (Seventy-two) hours prior to receipt of the vehicle is valid until 31 December 2023. The company has the right to extend or stop the FREE cancellation policy whenever it wishes and restore (not retroactively) the Free Cancellation premium that occurs when booking the vehicle through the website.

TRANSACTIONS SECURITY
All payments made using a card are processed through the electronic payment platforms of the National, Piraeus, Eurobank, Alpha Bank and uses a TLS 1.2 encryption protocol with 128-bit encryption protocol (Secure Sockets Layer – SSL). Encryption is a way to codify information until it reaches its recipient, who will be able to decode it using the appropriate key.
